Woodlands, valleys and mountains - being drenched in nature makes me happy.
Art and love both transform feelings, thoughts, every day experiences - just as the natural world does.

Born in South London, Lambeth, but moving to the Herefordshire countryside when still young. The dappled light through the trees of the Herefordshire valleys, the mystery of the landscape and the human body stick with me. After 11 years pursuing a transformative approach to care for older people and dementia, I am now finally back, focused again on painting. But taking these lessons of the last decade, on the science of human function, cognition and healing forward. Art finally is about emotional and mental health, philosophical narrative, the stories we tell ourselves that change and elevate who we are, how we think and feel in the world.
